Telkom Soccer Ball Tower

Challenge: We were asked to manufacture and install large soccer balls on Telkom Towers in time for the 2010 World Cup. They had to be impressively large and perfectly round.

What we did: We had to acquire council approval as well as initiate a comprehensive Environmental Impact Assessment with public participation. Once this was done and approved, we installed under great pressure to be ready in time

Result: A happy client, an awarded campaign. The soccer ball structures were adjudicated by The Guinness World Record company to be the biggest soccer balls ever built at height in the world. Telkom awarded us a 98.2% efficiency rating for our efficiency and professionalism.
